Xuan Song, Yuliang Xie, and co-workers develop an acoustic-modulated, selective particle deposition approach. Sequential and parallel depositions of two types of particles are achieved by modulating the signal inputs and resonant frequencies of piezo transducers. It is expected that this particle deposition approach can be used in many multi-material additive manufacturing applications.
